News from our houses Things to see and do

Due to unprecedented demand, Knebworth House are pleased to announce an extra show of Charles Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’ at 7pm on Friday 20th December.

This is a unique opportunity to experience one of Charles Dickens’ most celebrated works in the Banqueting Hall of Knebworth House – a room Charles Dickens once performed in.
Grab yourself a mulled wine and settle into your seat for the Living Theatre’s reading of a Christmas Carol – but don’t get too comfortable! Expect characters to leap from the page and Dickens to dance before your eyes as the two actors contend to tell this favourite Christmas story. Seamlessly moving from the trusted narrator to the most fiendish of Dickens creations.
Book in hand, the actors will take you through the laughter, the lows and straight to the heart of Dickens most famous tale.

This reading is created for all the family, relishing the words for the most faithful Dickens’ fan to captivating the imaginations of our youngest audiences.

Tickets include a mulled wine or soft drink, and the Positif Chamber Choir will provide entertainment during the interval.

Tickets available from £13. For more information and to book tickets please visit the Knebworth House website.
