Petrifying Pop Parodies give Halloween a musical twist this autumn at Kiplin Hall and Gardens.
Kiplin Hall and Gardens announces a quirky theme for their popular Halloween event. With a reputation for spooky family fun, Crowe’s Wood Halloween Trail is different each year. Last year visitors enjoyed folklore and local legends in line with the Yorkshire theme of the venue in 2023.
This year the popular visitor attraction has focused on music. With exhibitions, activities and events all making noise during 2024. The upcoming Halloween trail will be bang on trend with its Petrifying Pop Parodies!
Project Officer, Naomi Peach, explains:
“Halloween has become a highlight on the Kiplin calendar, we try to make each year unique. This year visitors can expect to see iconic lyrics and proud performers in petrifying parodies. While children will be a little spooked by the terrific displays spread through the woodland, adults will be able to read between the lines and discover the hilarity of the musical acts we are replicating. We can’t wait to show off our handmade displays and hear what everyone thinks of them. We also love to see how visitors dress for the event. We often get visitors in fancy dress during the trail, which is a real treat. So, if any visitors would like to take inspiration from a song, band, or lyric for their fancy dress, we’d be delighted to see their creations too.”
Crowe’s Wood Halloween Trail is an outdoor event taking place from Friday 18th October until Wednesday 6th November (closed on Thursdays) at Kiplin Hall and Gardens. For any visitors who do not wish to participate in the Halloween event it is contained to the walled garden and Crowes Wood areas. The lakeside paths, ample parkland, and historic hall remain in their natural autumnal beauty.
Crowe’s Wood Halloween Trail is included with standard admission and valid annual tickets. Booking not required, although you can buy tickets online in advance if you wish. For more information visit www.kiplinhall.co.uk
