Annual Bluebell Walks return to Combermere Abbey this spring
This April and May, Combermere Abbey Estate will again open its gates and host their popular annual Bluebell Walks.
With spring in full flow, visitors will enjoy the rare opportunity to discover the Combermere Estate, and a two-mile stroll through the ancient woodlands, delighting the senses with swathes of fragrant, native bluebells as you go. Visit the Brides Plantation and the new Jubilee planting for the late Queen’s Green Canopy initiative.
Walks are planned on 4 days, two midweek days and two weekend Saturdays, including a May bank holiday Saturday for the first time. Dates are Wednesday 16th April, Wednesday 23rd April, Saturday 26th April and Saturday 3rd May (BH). There are morning and afternoon walk times – 10am and 1pm – and tickets must be booked in advance through the website.
Admission costs for the Bluebell Walk are: Adults £7; Children under 16 – £3.50
Free for babies in carriers. Dogs on leads are welcome. Parking is free of charge and advance booking via the website is required. Please wear appropriate footwear for woodland walking and kindly note that the woodland paths are not suited to prams and pushchairs
Starting from Parkview Business Centre SY13 4AL on the A530 just past the Combermere Abbey gates on the edge of the estate, there is good parking and toilets and excellent refreshments in The Old Piggery Café.
