Accessible parking spaces are available in the Garden Centre Car Park and Bothy Car Park, with a buggy service running between the House, Chapel and Car Parks. This service can be organised prior to your arrival by calling 02392 412265 or emailing visitors@stanstedpark.co.uk. Alternatively, the buggy can be contacted during public opening by notifying the volunteer inside the Chapel of St Paul.
Whilst the House is fully accessible for manual wheelchairs, one of the lifts may not be able to accommodate some motorised wheelchairs or mobility scooters. To discuss access requirements prior to your visit, please contact the team on 02392 412265 or visitors@stanstedpark.co.uk.
Welcome to the fairy tale setting of Stansted Park.
The historic Edwardian Mansion is set in over a thousand acres of the South Downs National Park, with far-reaching views across open countryside and ancient woodland all the way down to the glistening Solent. It is the perfect setting for the wedding of your dreams from ten guests to a thousand.
The beautiful former home of the Earl of Bessborough is a sublime space for a small, intimate gathering, with the historic grandeur of the Blue Drawing Room and lavish furnishings of the Music Room as the backdrop for your special day. Tucked away in a tree-lined grove, the private family chapel offers a truly exceptional place to bless your marriage, with the stunning stained glass window and tiled 17th century aisle making this a unique setting for the more spiritual element of your wedding.
The sprawling grounds also offer an incredible opportunity for a large unapologetically bold celebration, with space for a thousand guests in a marquee.

Thank you for letting us have our wedding day at Stansted House, it was truly magical and everybody has said how lovely the house and ground were, and that they could explore the whole house. Our guests were truly blown away by it all, it was exactly how I had imagined my wedding day to be from thinking about it as a teenager.
Amy & Alex
Can we also say a big thank you to Michael the Butler, my bridesmaids wanted to take him home as he was so sweet and nothing was too much trouble for him. He truly made it a greater experience for us all. Alex and I truly felt like the Lord & Lady of the Manor, even our guests said it was like saying goodbye to us at our manor home. We felt so much at ease and I really wish I could have stayed. Thank you again for making our day unforgettable
