Situated next to the Bay of Skaill on the beautiful island of Orkney, Skaill House is a romantic and intimate venue for your special day. Built in the 1620’s Skaill House has an amazing history, and the beauty of the House and its gardens also make it the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos.

We are able to hold civil marriage ceremonies in our drawing room, accommodating up to 50 people. This spacious, enchanting room boasts spectacular views over the gardens, Skaill Loch and the Bay of Skaill.

Our 18th-century dining room in the South Wing of the house can also be used for civil ceremonies and is a fantastic room from which to serve drinks and canapes for you and your wedding guests.
