Nestled in rural Hampshire, Penton Mewsey feels like a step back in time, with its leafy lanes and thatched cottages, it’s the perfect setting for a romantic wedding.

As part of Penton’s unique charm, we allow you and your guests to dine in any of the beautiful spaces inside the house or in the grounds, providing your numbers allow. Whether that’s a grand three-course meal by candlelight in the ballroom or an informal feasting menu in our ancient woodland sheltered by the branches of the Lebanon cedar.

Then it’s time to dance the night away in our beautiful ballroom, holding up to 180 guests there’s ample space for everyone to enjoy themselves (as well as a couple of cosy corners for those who don’t like it loud)! Our onsite bar is within easy reach of the dance floor so your guests wont have far to go to quench their thirst.

We only hold 20 exclusive use weddings per year, so have the flexibility to help you tailor the day that you want, from the timescales and the food to the type, location, and size of the ceremony.

Exclusive use hire of Penton Park and the grounds for 2025 costs £11,000 and is subject to a minimum spend on food and drink.
