Let us know here

Painshill is a beautiful award-winning 18th century landscape garden in Surrey.

The 160 acre wonderland has something for everyone and makes a great family day out. Discover the mystical follies, historic plantings, the John Bartram Heritage Collection of North American trees and shrubs (Plant Heritage, NCCPG), and some of Surrey’s amazing wildlife.

Winding paths will gently guide you on a journey of discovery as you explore many of the mystical follies including the Crystal Grotto, Gothic Temple and Ruined Abbey to name just a few. Enjoy captivating and breathtaking views across the landscape, as you immerse yourself in Hamilton’s Renaissance art inspired vision.

Spend a whole day exploring Painshill or enjoy an accessible walk around the Serpentine Lake. Bring a picnic or relax in Hamilton’s Tea Room which often serves seasonal dishes grown from our own Walled Garden. Don’t forget to pick up a bottle of Painshill English Sparkling Wine (made from grapes grown in our Vineyard) as a memento of your visit.
