Originally built in 1693, the Hall you see today was extended and built in the Palladian style in 1772. The interiors of the Hall were designed collaboratively by Italian architect, Joseph Bonomi, and the 4th Earl of Aylesford. One of Packington’s most important rooms is the Pompeiian Room, originally designed to house the 4th Earl of Aylesford’s Etruscan vase collection.

The Pleasure Grounds and landscaping surrounding the house were designed by ‘Capability’ Brown and today include a Japanese bridge, wild flower meadow and a newly restored walled garden.

Tours feature a guided tour of the ground floor of the house and the gardens by owner, Georgie Guernsey (garden tours may occasionally be taken by head gardener, Danni Hudson).
