Enjoy exclusive use of large historic family home now updated to provide comfortable accommodation for up to 19 guests. Set in the heart of the idyllic Eden Valley, near the Lakes, Morland House dates from Tudor times, and its oak panelled reception rooms, complete with antique furnishings, curios and family portraits, provide a truly unique setting for memorable celebrations.
Home to the Markham family since 1828, the house is a paradise for history-lovers, with the nine bedrooms being each themed around a particular ancestor from the C18 and C19. Recent modern touches include excellent WiFi, ‘smart’ central heating, extra bathrooms and two kitchens (one for any catering requirements). Children have their own games room, a snug with tv and can either share the triple bedroom with single beds or the bunk-bed room with cot.
