From Newcastle:
Take the A1(M) South and exit at Junction 63. Follow the directions above to reach the castle.
From Durham:
Take the A167 north towards Chester-le-Street and follow the signs for Lumley Castle.
By Train:
Chester-le-Street Station: The closest station, just a 5-minute taxi ride away from Lumley Castle. Regular services run to and from Newcastle, Durham, and other major cities.
By Air:
Newcastle International Airport: Approximately 30 minutes by car. Follow the A1(M) southbound towards Junction 63.
