Fingask Castle is a rural and romantic wedding venue set in the heart of Scotland. We pride ourselves on our flexibility – what you see is what you get, and more! We don’t charge extra for necessities: chairs, tables, napery, cutlery, lights, loud speakers, sweetie cart, and there is even a red letter box.
Hosting your wedding in the castle
Fingask is the ancestral home of the Threipland family who have been living here for some 400 years. They have always been a hospitable lot (Bonnie Prince Charlie, and his father stayed here!) and nowadays they open the castle to weddings, up to 300 people . Smaller weddings in the castle, larger weddings up to 300 people can parade over to the pavilion in the front garden. Fingask can put up 70 people in the castle and estate cottages, larger numbers in neighbouring farms.
Accommodation
The bridal suite in the castle consists of three double bedrooms with period furniture and pictures. There are seven self-catering cottages in easy walking distance of the castle. The Potting Sheds are self-catering pods offering overnight accommodation for 18 people just off the walled garden. In total, Fingask can accommodate over 70 people.
