Former home and gallery of Lee Miller and Roland Penrose, a Georgian farmhouse visited by Picasso and other artistic greats.

We recommend allowing at least 2 hours for a visit to Farleys.
There are two galleries in which an exciting programme of exhibitions is shown each season. Details can be found on our website.
The sculpture garden which surrounds the house can be explored at leisure and contains work both from the permanent collection alongside that of contemporary artists.
All visits to the house are by guided tour and please ensure you select a house tour ticket when booking. The 50 minute tour available on Sundays and Thursdays takes in the rooms of the ground floor of the house.
Tea and cake are available in Farleys Gallery to enjoy in the garden, and you are welcome to bring a picnic.
There is a small gift shop and parking is free.
In 2024 we have three ticket options
1. Entry to Farleys Gallery, the Lee Miller Gallery, and the Sculpture Garden 10am – 4.30pm. £10.00 per person.
2. 50 minute guided house tour at allocated time with all day admission to Farleys Gallery, the Lee Miller Gallery, and the Sculpture Garden. £23.00 per person.
3. Private View Tour: 3 hour visit led by members of the Penrose family. £50.00 per person.
This house is not part of the Free for Members scheme, but is one of many houses on our website that we support to promote their tours, weddings, filming and other commercial offerings. Group visits are available for advance booking on Thursdays between April and October each year.
To visit the exhibitions and gardens groups of 14 – 45 people can book at £9 pp.
To visit the exhibitions and gardens and take a house tour groups of 14 – 21 people can book at £19 pp.
