The photographer Lee Miller and Surrealist artist and founder of the ICA Roland Penrose moved to Farleys in the Sussex village of Muddles Green in 1949.
In the years that followed they decorated the house and garden with artworks many of which were by friends such as Picasso, Miro and Man Ray who also visited. Farleys became a meeting place for some of the top names in twentieth century art and today visitors can enjoy the extraordinary atmosphere of this unique family home.
