Gale Cottage combines classic country charm with modern styling. The Cottage looks out over a landscaped courtyard affording privacy and a stunning view. The accommodation is cosy and modern with bundles of heritage set in a tranquil corner of rural Buckinghamshire.
GUEST ACCESS
Guests have access to a gorgeous landscaped courtyard. The 400 acre Eton Dorney Rowing Centre is next door (access is free) and the River Thames is just a short walk from the door.
Guests are left to their own devices and afforded privacy but Dorney Court remains firmly a family home and anyone staying in Gale Cottage is likely to have some contact with other people living/working on the Estate.
THINGS TO NOTE
The cottage sits in a secluded location on the Dorney Court Estate neighboured by a 12th-century church. There is a result Sunday service at 0930 with the church bells ringing for the 30 mins or so beforehand. The bell ringers practice on Monday nights from 7-8. Most people enjoy the sound and this quintessential slice of English village life.
