Please contact us in advance of visiting to help us understand your specific needs regarding accessibility, and work out the best plan. Generally, access to the historic house comes with its share challenges, especially as the building is so old.
Access into the house is not level and there is no lift inside and it is surrounded by loose gravel that can also be difficult to traverse safely. Regrettably mobility scooters are not permitted inside the house, as they are too large and lack the level of manoeuvrability needed for safe entry and exit.
The large, ancient gardens at Deans Court offer a romantic country venue for wedding receptions with on-site accommodation.
In a setting beside the Saxon fishpond with several acres of lawns around the Georgian house, guests can relax and play lawn games before settling into superbly catered meals in the marquee.
After dark the garden is theatrically transformed with lighting while guests dance, relax at the bar or chat around the firepits. Our strengths lie not only in laying on a visual feast.
The pretty holiday cottages, shepherd’s hut and Gate House provide a variety of well-equipped places for the wedding party to stay on-site (up to 28 people).
With our highly organised Events Team we take away the stress of planning an elaborate event, and deliver a fun, relaxed, visually stunning and memorable day with every detail fine-tuned behind the scenes.
