Broughton Hall’s five magnificent state rooms offer the perfect backdrop to your special day. Enjoy welcome drinks in the Conservatory and 18th Century formal gardens, followed by a magnificent feast in the decadent Green Drawing Room.

As you move into the evening you could enjoying dancing and music within the Saloon or, if you fancy a change of scenery, then why not move the party to one of our other venues, or even a marquee on the croquet lawn.

We have a civil ceremony license that allows you to get married at both Utopia or Eden – two event spaces within a short walk on the estate grounds. Both venues offer a beautiful space to exchange your vows.

You can also choose to have the service anywhere on the Sanctuary and simply arrage the official side of things within one of these venues at any time. Our private Sacred Heart Chapel located within the Broughton Hall building is also a wonderful option for Catholic weddings.

Our comfortable and elegant rooms offer the perfect space for you and your guests to relax in.

The Red Drawing room is a home away from home with cosy chairs and a roaring fire, the library is an enchanting and peaceful place to unwind as you drift back in time. The billiard room will keep you and your guests entertained throughout the weekend.

Each of the 17 impressive bedrooms in Broughton Hall have an individual character and design. There is a bedroom to suit every age and personality within your private party. We also have a collection of Holiday Homes offering additional accommodation for your guests. We have over 100 beds across the Sanctuary within Broughton Hall, Eden and our collection of beautiful Holiday Homes.

Whether you are looking for a traditional wedding breakfast, a foraged grazing table or something totally unique to you, we highly recommend using our team of in-house chefs. We know that you will be in safe hands, as well as impressed by the delicious food that is both good for you and kind to the planet.

What better way to prepare for your special day than time relaxing within our exquisite Pool Suite at Avalon Wellbeing Centre. We also offer a Bridal Rituals, a unique moment for ceremonial preparation ahead
of your wedding day.

Your extended stay allows time to discover all that the Sanctuary has to offer. Enjoy an alfresco BBQ at our magical Fire Temple the night before, spend the day in our woodland sauna and wild swimming pond or keep it simple with a relaxing picnic by the meandering river.

Up to 90 person capacity for civil ceremony and a feast within the Green Drawing Room.
Up to 120 person capacity for drinks and dancing within Broughton Hall.
