The majority of our gardens are accessible on hard standing pathways and we have also invested in our forest areas to make them more accessible to wheelchairs. Accessible toilets are available in our courtyard, near to our Bakehouse cafe, which is also accessible and dog friendly.
Our guided House tours are also accessible and on ground level.
Our private Grade II registered historic gardens are open daily to visitors. Humphry Repton, the greatest landscape gardener of his day, was commissioned to design the formal gardens, and they remain intact today as the finest surviving example of his work, often referred to as his ‘Garden of Gardens.’
No matter what time of day or year you visit, there is always something to take your breath away. It may be the avenue of rhododendrons and carpet of bluebells in the spring, the formal bedding in the summer, the glorious autumn hues or the snow covered winter wonderland.
Dogs on leads welcome.
Please note: The information on the Historic Houses website is advisory, but please always check the website of the house or garden you intend to visit before travelling.
Our Gardens are open daily from 9am until 5pm (last entry is at 4pm). The House isn’t available to view daily but there are House Tours scheduled regularly, which are bookable via our website.
Adult entry to the gardens is £9.
Group visits can be accommodated with prior notice, email tickets@ashridge.hult.edu with the preferred date and group numbers and our team will be able to assist.
