Althorp is a Grade I listed stately home and estate in the civil parish of Althorp, in West Northamptonshire, England of about 13,000 acres. By road it is about 6 miles northwest of the county town of Northampton and about 75 miles northwest of central London.

Historic Houses members visit for free. You will need to first get a coupon code from their website, which will be available nearer their opening season.

Discounts for group visitors are available for a minimum number of 12 guests. The Coach Driver and Coach Leader receive free access and do not require a ticket, nor are they included in the minimum of 12 tickets needed to qualify for a discount. All Group/Coach bookings must be booked through the website www.spencerofalthorp.com two weeks prior to arrival. We are not able to reserve bookings, you must place your order and pay through the website when you have secured your date.

From the M1, 7m from J16 and 10m from J18.Situated on the A428 Northampton – Rugby Road.
5m from Northampton Station and 14m from Rugby Station.
There is a walk and cycle trail which runs from the outskirts of Northampton to Market Harborough along the trackbed of a disused railway line and National Cycle route 6 which is close to Althorp.
