Stay in the Hope Scott Wing at Abbotsford
The Hope Scott Wing, once home to Sir Walter Scott’s granddaughter, retains the intimacy and integrity of a family home while introducing all the essentials of modern-day comfort. The luxury accommodation is perfect for groups of up to 14-16 guests on an exclusive use self-catering basis. Banquets in Scott’s magnificent dining room, exclusive access to the gardens, hunting and fishing in the local area, guided tours, spa treatments and even a personal chef can be arranged to enhance your stay.
There are seven luxury bedrooms, one opulent room with a grand four-poster bed and six deluxe bedrooms that can be made into double or twin rooms. There is also an eighth adjoining bedroom with a queen sized bed, perfect for a family or close friends. The en-suite bathrooms are beautifully designed, with one fully accessible and one Jack-and-Jill style. Special arrangements can be made for two extra children’s beds.
Parking is outside the property with no steps into the house. All the ground floor public rooms are fully accessible including the kitchen, sitting room and billiard room. There is a fully accessible bedroom and en-suite bathroom, accessed via a lift, which can be set as a double or twin room.
