Rhiewport Hall
Berriew, Welshpool, Powys, SY21 8BD
An opportunity to explore the Georgian Hall with the current owners, discovering the formal rooms and the private accommodation above. The owners will also take you on a walk through the grounds where you can see the unchanged Georgian stable block and coach houses, as well as the Arts and Crafts cottage originally created as a photographer’s studio and later a joiner’s workshop, which is an excellent example of Arts & Crafts architecture on a small scale.
Niall and Lorna are restoring the property and its outbuildings, so you can see the work in progress and find out how they plan to bring the Hall back to its former glory. They have created an exciting plan to restore the walled garden and have a fabulous team of volunteers who are helping them on this journey.
The tour will include tea and cake in the formal dining room, or outside if it’s a nice day.
